Meet Our Groomer - Julie

Julie joined Happy Tails in January 2025 as a receptionist and master groomer. She brings 19 years of experience in the pet industry, including doggy daycare/boarding, vet clinic work, and grooming salons. Since earning her grooming certification in 2018 from Animal Behavioral College, Julie has continued to grow her skills and is also certified in AKC S.A.F.E. Handling and Creative Color and Grooming.

Julie competes in the annual "Groom’d" pet fair in Atlanta, where she attends seminars to further expand her grooming knowledge. She lives in Roswell with her boyfriend and their small rat terrier mix, Radar. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, festivals, Cirque du Soleil shows, and crafting cosplay costumes for conventions.

We have expanded our integrative approach into our grooming services. From natural shampoos, conditioners, and sprays to ozone rinses for allergies—let our groomer pamper your pets!

FREE GROOMING CONSULTS BY APPOINTMENT.

Baths start at $45 and include ears and nail trims.
Mini Groom starts at $65 and includes bath with brush out, ears, nails, sanitary trim, face if needed, and paws.
Full Groom starts at $85 and includes a bath with brush out, ears, nail trim, full body cut, and pad and nose moisturizer.

Appointments: Grooming is available by appointment only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Morning drop-off is scheduled between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM. Due to limited availability, we are unable to accommodate same-day requests or walk-ins.

Deposit Policy: A $25 deposit is required for all grooming appointments to reserve the groomer’s time. This amount is applied to the total cost of the service (not an extra fee). Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for the deposit to be transferred to a new appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit.

Authorization and Consent for Grooming Services

I, the undersigned pet owner, hereby authorize Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care and its staff to perform grooming services on my pet(s). I understand grooming services may include, but are not limited to, bathing, brushing, clipping, trimming, nail cutting, ear cleaning, and other general grooming procedures.

Health and Behavior Information

I certify that my pet is in good health and has no contagious illnesses, parasites, or other medical conditions that will affect the grooming process.
I agree to notify the groomers of any known health concerns, allergies, or behavioral issues before the grooming appointment.
I understand that aggressive or fearful behavior from my pet may result in changes to the grooming process or the refusal of service due to safety.

Liability Waiver and Release

I acknowledge that grooming involves the use of sharp instruments and equipment that pose inherent risk. I hereby release Happy Tails Veterinary Care and it’s staff from any liability for injuries or accidents that may occur during the grooming process, including but not limited to cuts, nicks, scratches, or stress-related issues.
In case of an emergency, I authorize the groomers to seek medical care at happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care’s clinic. I agree to pay all costs associated with that care.
I understand that severe matting will result in shaving down my pet for their health and comfort.
I understand if my pet is found to have fleas, Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care will treat the pet, and I will be charged accordingly.

Payment and Services Agreement

I agree to pay the grooming fees as outlined by Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care and staff at the time of service.
I understand that if my pet's grooming requires additional services for their comfort and health, I will be notified, and additional fees will apply.
I consent to the use of photographs and videos of my pet taken during and after the grooming process for promotional purposes.
