Dr. Katherine Marraccini, DVM

Dr. Katherine Marraccini grew up in NJ riding horses and helping her parents take care of a small farm of pets including alpacas, goats, and chickens. During these years, she nurtured her passion for animal care and discovered she wanted to become a veterinarian. In 2009, she began her studies at Penn State University and graduated in 2013 with a bachelor of science in Animal Sciences and a minor in Equine Science. She continued her studies at Auburn University and earned her doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2017. After graduating with her DVM Dr Marraccini developed an interest in integrative medicine as a means of providing geriatric and terminally ill patients with more complete and personalized care. She received certifications in acupuncture and food therapy through the Chi University which utilizes traditional Chinese medicine for animals. She then received her certification in mixed animal spinal manipulation (Chiropractic care) through Options for Animals. She is an active member of the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

When Dr. Marraccini is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Ian Kelly (also a DVM) and her fur family (ie Belle our Great Dane mix, Moose our energetic mut, Ella our deaf asthmatic cat, and Toad our grumpy geriatric cat with the sweetest meow). Together they enjoy gardening, backpacking, camping, snowboarding, and all activities outdoors.

Dr. Alicia Moon DVM, CVA

My name is Alicia Moon, and I have always had a strong interest in and passion for caring for animals. I studied at the University of Georgia and majored in Biology; while in college, I worked as a kennel assistant in a holistic Veterinary practice and worked my way up to a technician position. Then I decided to take the next step from Technician to doctor – that’s when I continued my studies at the University Of Georgia College Of Veterinary Medicine, where I graduated with my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While in Vet School,I became more interested in exotic animal medicine, and I started working for an exotic practice as a student. I graduated in 2008 and pursued experience in holistic veterinary medicine and completed my acupuncture certification through IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society).

I truly enjoy practicing small animal and exotic medicine and surgery, along with offering alternatives such as Acupuncture and herbal medicine to give my patients the best quality care. I have been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2008, and I have worked with animals since 1998 in clinics. I have had cats, dogs, hamsters, and rabbits for pets since I was a child. I love animals and I look forward to providing your pet with the best quality care.
