After being born and brought up in Gujarat, India, Rajvee moved to America in early 2000s. She moved to Demorest, Georgia, to attend Piedmont College. There, in 2015 she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Cell Biology and a minor in chemistry and researched speciation in salamanders. Since graduating college, Rajvee has held positions at private veterinary practices around Atlanta and became proficient in patient-care and client communications through positions as a veterinary- receptionist and technician, capable of assisting veterinarians during appointments and with anesthetic procedures.
Rajvee’s dedication towards animal care began in high school when she started volunteering at her local Humane Society providing husbandry care to animals. During her time at Piedmont College, her extracurricular activities during undergraduate studies included participating on the Women’s Cross Country team and devoting time as a veterinary assistant at animal-care facilities in Georgia and Texas.
Growing up in both eastern and western parts of the world, Rajvee familiarized herself with the pros and cons of western approaches using pharmaceuticals, and traditional eastern medicine using therapeutic techniques (ex: acupuncture) as well as herbs for the improved well-being of animals. Her primary affinity towards a holistic approach and secondary affinity towards an integrative approach to medicine led her to joining the team at Happy Tails Holistic Veterinary Care during May of 2019! Her role here transitioned as Practice Manager based on her competence in accounting, marketing, as well as client- and staff- interactions.
Rajvee enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and other activities like reading and embroidering. She married her college sweetheart and they live in Atlanta with their naughty cat Marlow!
Madison is a recent graduate of Berry College. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science and a minor in Chemistry. She enjoys cooking and training her two dogs, Pip and Lily, in her free time.
